You week looks like it was awesome! I'm so in love with the self-portrait...love that. It reminds me of a 40's poster...really classy and fun!

Your new self portrait technique is so cool! (Is the word cool used anymore?) Great light on your winter hike. I can't believe your daughter is on spring break and all this snow is still around. I hope you are enjoying your time with her!

Nothing like a hot bath to relax and focus.

These are awesome. Your first photo brought back memories as we don't get a lot of snow here in Vancouver BC and if we do, it doesn't last too long. Your bathtub photo made me smile :o) Love your shoe photo... and enjoy your time with your daughter! Have a great weekend!

I really like all your photo techniques. The light on the flower is special.

I forgot to mention that I liked the snow covered path shot even though I'm glad we didn't have snow here this winter.

Fun finds, fun facts! I can't believe Mallory is home for spring break! It's nowhere near spring here so I know it sure as heck isn't for you either. Also, lovely photos of all your finds.

Hi Sarah, I always look forward to your finds. Today, I'm nodding my head in agreement with you. Yes to sunshine on snow, yes to seizing the moment to capture the beauty of a flower in perfect light. And a huge YES to bubble baths - love your creative self-portrait (such cute little toes). And so very happy for you that you were able to spend time with Mallory while she was at home on spring break. My son helped us shovel the driveway today and while we worked we laughed and in my eyes he was a little boy again. Oh, and your self-portrait technique of focus and blur - I'd like to try this, too. Thanks for sharing!

what wonderful finds! as for the tub soaking- aaah! how lovely that your daughter is home. I find it interesting that breaks taken in early March are called Spring Breaks- they do it locally too.

What a truly great idea for your self portrait! I do love the composition of the focus and blur shot, something I would like to learn. Looking forward to all the wonderful ways you will be creating with this. guess I did not realize R5F was back, for some reason I thought the link ups were no longer.

I love you self portrait ideas - the bubble bath and the shoes. Especially the shoes. I enjoyed that class very much as well and I am way more comfortable with self portraits now. I enjoy your images on Flickr as well.

Wonderful finds, Sarah! That first one made me smile at what appeared to be snowballs lined up along the railing! And that flower - oh, how lovely. That one takes my breath away.
